Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive the information in your message, including your email address and anything else you choose to include. We use it to read and respond to your enquiry, handle corrections, or discuss a proposed partnership. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Basic website records
Like most websites, our hosting and delivery providers may process technical records needed to serve and protect the site. These can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. We use these records to keep the site available, diagnose problems, and reduce abuse.
Sponsored and affiliate pages
Some clearly labeled sponsored or affiliate pages may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use a page through interaction and session analytics, such as clicks, scrolling and page navigation. Microsoft may process device and usage data for this purpose. You can learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Those pages may also use RedTrack to attribute visits and clicks to a particular advertisement or referral source. This helps measure whether a promotion led to a visit or another stated action. RedTrack may process technical identifiers and click information for attribution. The relevant sponsored page will provide a disclosure when these tools are in use.
The independent editorial pages of the journal do not automatically contain those sponsored-page analytics merely because the tools are described here.
Affiliate links and other sites
An affiliate link may include an identifier so a merchant can recognize that a visit came from us. If you follow a link to another site, that site applies its own privacy terms. We encourage you to read them before providing personal information or making a purchase.
Your choices
You can adjust cookie and privacy controls in your browser, block third-party content, or leave a page. Blocking some technologies may affect attribution or page features. To ask about information you sent directly to us, email Lee@harefit.com.
